Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups flour
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups mashed bananas (or three small bananas)
- ⅔ cup honey
- ¼ cup grapeseed oil
- ½ cup low fat buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 ounces Explorer Cold Brew Concentrate
- ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips (plus more for topping)
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Line a 9X5 inch pan with parchment paper and spray lightly with nonstick spray
- Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl and whisk altogether
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, honey, oil, buttermilk, egg, vanilla extract, and Explorer Cold Brew Concentrate
- Add wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold until just combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 1 hour
- Cool for 15 minutes in pan
- Carefully lift bread from pan and let cool
- Slice and enjoy!
